Terms of service

These terms govern your use of AdventureEngine operated by Vardan Sharma. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

The Service

AdventureEngine helps game masters turn mystery scenario briefs into structured GM booklets using AI. Output is draft material for tabletop play — you are responsible for reviewing it before use at your table.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Sign-in is provided through Clerk. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Credits & payments

• Generating a scenario and booklet consumes credits as shown in the app.
• Credit packages are sold through Paddle. Prices and credit amounts are displayed at checkout.
• Credits are non-transferable unless we state otherwise. Refunds follow applicable consumer law and Paddle's policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to bypass credit limits, scrape the API, or overload our systems.
• Submit content that infringes others' rights or contains illegal material.
• Present AI-generated fiction as real official documents or use output to deceive others.

Intellectual property

We retain rights in the Service, branding, and underlying software. You retain rights in prompts you submit. Subject to these terms, you may use generated booklets for personal or commercial tabletop sessions.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or to protect the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
